The "Wolverine" star took a break from filming on Thursday, Oct. 24 to mingle with fans in Matawan.
Among them 13-year-old Olivia.
Olivia was just 8 years old when her mom Jaimee took her to see Jackman on tour after starring in "The Greatest Showman."
Olivia brought the shirt she bought at the world tour with her as she waited for a chance to meet Jackman alongside her BFF at the Stillwell Garage, an auto repair shop on Jackson Street.
After about an hour, the actor emerged.
"[Olivia] heard that [Jackman] wasn't going to take photos in costume so she thought, 'What can I ask him?' instead of for a photo," her mom said. "She asked him for a hug."
Olivia got both.
"Song Sung Blue" is a Focus Features musical drama directed by Craig Brewer. It's a love story about two musicians, played by Jackman and Hudson, who form a Neil Diamond tribute band and is based on the 2008 documentary, also called "Song Sung Blue," Deadline reports.
